What are the five letters?

There are five letters that mean everything to us.
Each letter represents a child—five siblings—who entered foster care together, uncertain of what would come next.

The system had a plan for them.
Separate homes. Separate beds. Separate lives.

But God had a better one.

Instead of being divided, these five children were welcomed into one home—a family already full of love, with three children of their own, who chose to say “yes” to keeping siblings together. Overnight, their household didn’t just grow—it doubled.

And they didn’t do it alone.

Our church stepped in, not just with words, but with action.
Meals were delivered. Laundry was folded. Rides were given. Mentors showed up.
What started as overwhelming became more sustainable—because a community chose to carry the weight together.

This is the heart behind The Five Letters Legacy Home.
We believe no child should lose their family twice—once to circumstance, and again to separation.
We believe families who say “yes” to hard callings should never have to do it alone.
And we believe the Church is at its best when it becomes the hands and feet of Christ in real, tangible ways.

Those five letters are more than initials.
They are a reminder: when love is shared, burdens are lifted—and lives are changed forever.
